Do you Have your Ducks in a row?

Hubby and I are spending every second we can this week trying to get all our ducks in a row. Do you ever feel like everything in your life is just out of control? Well, we both are kind of feeling that way right now. So not only have we decided to eat healthy from now on, we are also working on ways to save money and try to go on a few mini vacations over the next few years. Also we need to do some deep spring cleaning. Have you done yours yet? We are taking control of our lives again. LOL, I still don't know how we lost control, but anyway, we're taking it back.

Much paper planning and many organizing things in our future. But I'm actually looking forward to it. I know all this will not happen at once, but we are off to a good start. I love new beginnings, and summer, and flip flops, and shorts, and the beach, and ah.....the list goes on. It's a great day at the McKenzie house. Hope It's the same at yours.

THank you Sandee

Sandee over at Comedy Plus helped me fix my comments problem. All week I have been getting up to a dozen a day of these "anonymous comments". I was afraid they might have given my blog a virus or something. Scary stuff! Anyway, she told me how to fix it so I'm all good to go.

It's been a slow week. Rocksy and I are getting to know each other and she is fitting right in. Haven't felt too good, so went and got labs done early this month. I guess no news is good news, because they only call if there is a problem. And they haven't called.

Dennis and Kenzie had a father / daughter date night to see Iron Man3. I love that he spends special time with each child. I think that is so important. As you can see, she is getting to wear a little makeup now. I don't think she needs it at this age (she'll be 13 in Aug), but I stay out of that stuff.

Today is Memorial Day. I haven't lost anyone close to war but pray daily for our troops to come home and be safe. I hate war.  Well, that sounded stupid, I doubt anyone likes war. Anyway, Robert is off today so we are going to try to do some productive things around the house, and maybe go on a picnic. HAVE A MARVELOUS DAY!!!!!!

I need blog help

I have tried all week to figure out how to get all these anonymous comments off my blog. They are commenting on posts from two years ago to recently- all sending you to unknown web sites. Can any of you please tell me how to make this stop so I can get back to blogging? I know on some blogs when I comment I have to add a code or do something... how do I do that. I don't want to give anyone a virus for reading my blog. Thanks for your help.

And to the butthole who keeps doing this to me- I truly hope you have lots of computer problems coming your way. I'm not usually mean but I am upset.

Bifocal Univision- Eric Alder's blog

Monday Morning Photo Prompt: 5/6/13

Like this car, I have a gate (or wall) up,
it's like wearing blinders.
It covers up the things I don't want people to see,
and only comes down when I want it to.

I don't like the gate.
The gate is controlling my world.
The gate must come down,
even if it hurts the car.

Cousins

Kaysen spent the day with Maddie and Lily on Saturday.

I love seeing my grandbabies all playing together. So sweet. Tomorrow, May 8, is a SPECIAL day.

Connor will be arriving some time tomorrow. His Mommy is being induced at 5 am. Can't wait to meet him this weekend. He is our first grandson and last grandchild. Very exciting!

Meet Rocksy

Rocky's story=
My very first blogging buddy and good friend Sandee over at Comedy Plus had a pet rock named Seymour. Well Seymour snuck out and spent too much time with Ms Sandstone ( the seductive rock across the street) and she became pregnant with Seymour's babies. She gave birth to 5 baby rocks. Sandee was kind enough to let me adopt one.
This is how she came to me- as naked as the day she was born. You will be seeing many changes in Rocksy on our journeys together. Just wanted you to know her story and how she came to be in my life. Maybe one day she even meet her brother Roche', who now belongs to the Empress Bee over at Muffin 53 part deux.

Today Rocksy will be out paying bills and getting her a little more covered. We don't want her to like her slutty mom after all, lol.
