We use a lot of plastic straws at our house and when on the road, so when I found the steel straws, I was excited to try them. They are of course made of stainless steel for long term use. I am super surprised at how much I like them. They have a bent look but they do not bend. It comes with its own cleaning brush to clean the straw inside. Very easy to clean. They are just a tad bit larger than a regular straw. They are lightweight and extremely durable, which will save money in the long run. They are great for smoothies! They may seem a little expensive but when you think of how long they will last and how many plastic straws we use and buy, this is a great deal! *I got this product free or at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
